Male and female quartets are invited to sing one song in the barbershop style, and a second song can be barbershop or any genre that showcases harmonizing skills (must by “G-rated” for family audiences). There is NO COST to enter, and all participants receive 50% scholarship to Summer Harmony Camp (July 18-20 in Estes Park). There will be divisions for men’s quartets and women’s quartets (mixed quartets also accommodated).
A quartet clinic for all wishing to participate will be held the weekend before, Sunday February 9th at Arvada High at 2:00 PM. Coaching for quartets will be available to help them prepare to do their best at the contest, also for individuals interested in exploring quartet singing and those who do not have a formal quartet put together.
All those wishing to participate are requested to please register (no cost) so adequate staffing can be available. Visit www.SummerHarmonyCamp.com for information and registration. Sample songs in the barbershop style including part-predominant learning tracks available. Please contact for information about additional charts.
