Celebrate the sounds of the season with local award-winning chorus, Sound of the Rockies

The upcoming holiday concert at The University of Denver, Newman Center for the Performing Arts will be the 11th Annual holiday performance hosted by Denver’s own Sound of the Rockies Chorus.  Come celebrate the sounds of the season with the award-winning chorus this season.  The Denver-based 100+ member men’s chorus and several quartets will perform 3 shows at the beautiful University of Denver, Newman Center June Swanner Gates Auditorium on Friday December 9th at 7:30pm and Saturday the 10th at 2pm and 7:30. Featured guest emcee will be Rick Crandall, host of the KEZW 1430AM radio morning show.  The 3rd Place International all a cappella chorus will be performing holiday favorites like “Jingle Bells,” “Let it Snow” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” as well as several classics from genres including jazz and traditional choral.  The show will feature select quartets from Sound of the Rockies as well as 52eighty, a youth chorus made up of members under 30 years old, who have previously placed 1st in the International Barbershop Youth Chorus Contest.  This concert has become an annual favorite of local residents looking to find a festive way to kick off the holiday season.  Tickets are going fast so call the ticket hotline today at 303-993-3501.
