There’s nothing better than sharing the spirit of holidays! And, every year, Sound of the Rockies’ celebrates the season by inviting you for a good-old-fashioned Christmas at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts.

There are still a few seats available for all three of our upcoming performances

  • Friday, December 13 @ 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 14 @ 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 14 @ 7:30 p.m.

But don’t delay! This is usually a sell-out event.

Our chorus and  quartets will be featuring classic Christmas carols, popular holiday songs and our much-loved telling of the Christmas Story.

You’ll also hear from our fantastic special guests

We are pleased to welcome Legacy, winner of Acappellooza 2019, back to the Newman Center stage. Based in Aurora, CO, Legacy has made its mark on the Colorado a cappella scene over the last two years for its powerful sound. Recently, the ensemble placed second at the Championship of Collegiate A Cappella competition.

One of Denver’s only 25 and under community a cappella choruses, 52eighty was formed as part of Sound of the Rockies’ mission to introduce young people to barbershop. In 2017, it became the Rocky Mountain District’s first mixed chorus and, in July, 52eighty became the first mixed chorus to compete at the Barbershop Harmony Society International Convention.

X&Y is a recently formed mixed barbershop quartet that has already impressed audiences throughout the Front Range region.
