Out of concern for artists, patrons and staff in the wake of the growing COVID-19 / coronavirus pandemic and in keeping with the University of Denver’s decision to cancel or postpone all upcoming events at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, Sound of the Rockies has postponed its Spring Shows.
“Thanks for the Memories,” which was originally set for March 28, will now take place on June 20 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., replacing SOR’s annual Acappellooza event. Current “Thanks for the Memories” tickets will be honored in June.
If you are unable to attend the June show and would like a refund, we ask for your patience as Sound of the Rockies works with the Newman Center Box Office on refund logistics. Check back periodically for updated refund information.
As you may know, our three shows at the Newman Center each year help fund SOR’s competition schedule and community initiatives. So if you can’t make it to the June show, please consider donating the value of your ticket directly to the chorus. More information will be available soon about this option as well.
