We hope that you are staying healthy and safe during these trying times. Sharing our love for music with our friends and fans is one of the great pleasures of being part of Sound of the Rockies and we missed seeing you at our March show, rehearsals and community appearances over the last weeks.
Here’ s a little something to give your spirit a boost while we continue to be apart: SOR’s virtual performance of “Go the Distance.”
Everyone is hopeful that Colorado can soon turn the corner with COVID-19 and that our rescheduled show “Thanks for the Memories,” will go ahead as planned on June 20 (2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts.
Unfortunately, there is so much uncertainty, making it difficult to predict what the next months will bring. Our priority is the safety of our artists, patrons, staff and volunteers. Therefore, SOR will continue to follow all guidelines set by public health officials and the State of Colorado. We will monitor the situation moving forward and make a final decision about our June 20 show next month.
In the meantime, if you know that you won’t be attending the June 20 show and would like a ticket refund, please contact the Newman Center Box Office directly at email@example.com. Please include the name of the purchaser, email address and, if available, account number (located on the ticket) in the message.
As you may know, Sound of the Rockies is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization and our three shows at the Newman Center each year help fund SOR’s mission to lift hearts through song and other worthwhile community initiatives. If you are able, please consider converting the value of your ticket to a charitable donation for Sound of the Rockies. Simply let the Newman Center Box Office know that you would like your ticket credited to SOR. (Look for a receipt from SOR for tax purposes by July 1.)Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your patronage of Sound of the Rockies and hope to see you soon! Meanwhile, stay healthy and take care of yourself.
